In CAFOD Club, we think about children all over the world.
Every Friday, children in Year 1 and Year 2 meet with Mrs Scholes and Miss Shaw to complete activities related to CAFOD.
Members of Year 2 CAFOD club helped to paint the fence for the prayer garden.
They also completed Climate Justice art work for a global competition.
We display our work in the KS1 prayer area. Here are some of the things we have done so far this year:
In Lent, we launched the BIG LENT WALK! We loved creating posters and putting them up around the school. The rest of us spoke in assembly to tell everyone about our mission this Lent!
We were very lucky to meet with Leo and Jane who work for CAFOD. We shared all the work we have been doing this year in CAFOD club.
CAFOD club were awarded the Caritas Award for putting Love into Action by working so hard to launch the BIG LENT WALK. Children from CAFOD club lead other children around the playground to help them complete the BIG LENT WALK!
