Summer Term 2
For our final week we have set transition activities for children to complete at home. This is through our new online platform which we will be using for homework from September.
This is through microsoft teams - follow the link below to login in
Your child will be given a username and password if they are in school this week. If not then please contact the school office or call into school to collect a copy.
When you have logged in there are a list of activities to complete. You can upload files, photographs and videos using the + Add Work button at the bottom of the page. Your child's teacher will be able to see what your child has completed and send messages and comments about the work.
We are hoping that by trialling this in the last week we can tweak any issues that may arise and teachers, children and parents can be become familiar with the platform ready to use more from September.
Yesterday Gavin Williamson (Education Secretary) supported the launch of home learning through a series of online lessons delivered by The Oak National Academy. This link below will take you to the website were you can access lessons for Reception-Year 6. Teachers have also prepared a home learning pack (link below). We are trying to support parents by providing as many links as possible and planning activities, please do not feel we expect children to complete everything. Use what you feel best fits with your child and your family. Many Thanks
SCIT have created a new Learning Hub that brings all the quality home learning resources into one place. The resources are organised into Key stages from EYFS right through to Upper KS2 and is really easy to navigate.
