‘Can’t You Sleep Little Bear?’ is the most well known.

Books by Jez Alborough

These are beautifully decorated and well written. ‘Where’s my Teddy?’ is a real favourite with the children.

‘The Rainbow Fish’ series of books by Marcus Pfister

These are great reads and are good for discussing with your child.

The ‘Meg and Mog’ series of books by Helen Nicoll & Jan Pienkowski

These were nominated by a number of children as being their favourites.

The ‘Winnie the Witch’ series of books by Valerie Thomas & Korky Paul

Theseare brilliant for a laugh and getting the children to predict what might happen.

‘The Three Wishes’ by Joanna Harrison

This is a good read and has a special message for mums(&dads).

If you can get hold of ‘So Much’ by Trish Cooke make sure you read it with the right accent. It has been the most requested story by the children over the years. Our copy is falling apart but is not usually found in the shops-probably an internet search.
